The Central Board of the Social Democratic Henchak Party (SDHK) thinks that the Republic of Armenia is witnessing a social, economic and political crisis.

The party has issued a statement today stating that no progress is registered the country.

"Unequal competitive conditions, heavy tax burden, legal vulnerability frustrate all efforts of small and medium businesses. The acting regime deliberately restricts their economic freedoms and breaks the back of that important economic link.

Being unable to compete with bizarre-looking wealthy farmers, peasants have appeared in abject poverty. As a result, peasants are unable to cultivate their lands.

The authorities' imprudent and short-sighted policy made the frontier villages bare and deserted.

Unemployment and poverty made our citizens leave Armenia and try their fate overseas. The rapid increase in gas price will logically lead to the advance in prices of essential commodities

Social Democratic Henchak Party warns the Armenian authorities that the situation in the country is hazardous and might lead to civil insubordination and unpredictable consequences.

The responsibility of all home developments lies on the acting authorities.
