Eight years for Nikol Pashinyan?

A short while ago, prosecutor Koryun Piloyan demanded an 8-year sentencing for editor-in-chief of "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily Nikol Pashinyan.

Presenting his accusatory speech, the prosecutor demanded a 6-year sentencing for organizing mass disturbances under Part 1 of Article 225 and 2.5 years for violence against a state representative under Part 1, of Article 316 of the Criminal Code.

The next trial will be held on December 26.
