The Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) is well-disposed to Dashnaktsutyun's sit-in strike in protest against the Armenian-Turkish Protocols.
"Each party decides its way of struggle. The Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutiun has chosen an extreme way of struggle though a civilized one accepted in the world. It is within their rights to express their opinion in this way," HHK Spokesman Edward Sharmazanov said today.
The HHK doesn't share ARF's decision and has already voiced its opinion during press conferences.
Asked whether the leading party will accept ARF's proposals, Mr. Sharmazanov said: "On September 17 Serzh Sargsyan will meet political parties to discuss the Armenian-Turkish relations with them. The invitations have already been sent out. Everything will be known after the consultations."
"The HHK doesn't tend to reject the proposals if they are good ones. I cannot say whether they will be rejected or accepted during the political consultations."
"The Republican Party accepts the pre-signed Protocols," concluded the HHK Spokesman.
