Shant Harutiunian standing trial on charges of provoking last year's deadly post-election violence in Armenia was released today.
Experts say during the "crime" Shant Harutiunian was "non compos mentis," hence the criminal case against the defendant was discontinued
Shant Harutiunian was charged with calls for "mass disorders" and "usurpation of state power."
According to the judge's decision, Shant Harutiunian was in a mental hospital for a long time where he had been taken forcibly.
