"Tumo" Center to open in Stepanakert

On 18 October, President of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic Bako Sahakyan met American-Armenian philanthropists Sam and Sylva Simonians.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the foundation of "Tumo" Center for Creative Technologies in Stepanakert, the capital of Artsakh.

Bako Sahakyan said the existence of such a center will be among the best pattern of investments into the intellectual sphere, which will give a serious impetus to the development of information technologies in the republic and intellectual capabilities of the younger generation.

He underlined that this project was among the best manifestations of the Motherland-Diaspora cooperation.
Prime-minister Ara Haroutunyan and other officials partook at the meeting, Artsakh President's Press Office reports.
