Speaker of Armenia's National Assembly, Hovik Abrahamyan, received on Wednesday Director of USAID/Armenia Mission Dr. Karen R. Hillard.
The latter expressed confidence that the cooperation with the Armenian parliament would be effective in the future as well. Karen R. Hillard said she is not only interested in maintaining the existing level of cooperation, but also in deepening it.
She noted that the USAID is going to implement a four-year partnership program with Armenia, aimed at strengthening the capacity of the Armenian parliament, especially that of the standing committees.
