Kosachev to pay two-day visit to Armenia

On July 4-5, Head of the Federal Agency for Russian Cooperation Konstantin Kosachyov will pay his first working visit to the Republic of Armenia.

During the visit, Kosachev will have meetings with Serzh Sargsyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan, Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan and Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan.

During the visit, Kosachev and RA Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan will have a meeting with the authors of 20 innovative projects that have passed the expert presentation stage and the listeners of the Young Innovators School at the Representation of the Russian Cooperation in Armenia on July 4.

The opening of the center for collective accessibility of education and information resources of Russia and the presentation of the Armenian language section of the website of the Russian Cooperation's representation in Armenia will be held at the Representation of the Russian Cooperation in Armenia on July 5.

On the same day at 16:00, a meeting will be held with representatives of NGOs, the youth wings of political parties, representatives of the Alumni Association of Russian Universities, the Armenian associations of Russian language experts and teachers and the activists of other organizations working with the representation at the Russian Embassy in Armenia.

Then, at 18:00, in light of the 185th anniversary of the Battle of Oshakan (17 August 1827), a solemn Wreath-laying placement and the planting of a commemorative tree will be held near the monument to the 1,130 soldiers of General of the Russian imperial army Krasovsky who died in the battle against the Persian army during the defense of the Holy Etchmiadzin.
