Serzh Sargsyan today visited the Artists' Union of Armenia and viewed the paintings showcased at the "With the Calling of My Homeland" exhibition of Georgian-Armenian painters organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
The goal of the exhibition organized through the combined efforts of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the "Hayartun" Cultural Center of the Georgian-Armenian Diocese of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church is to further deepen and enhance Armenian-Georgian cultural ties and familiarize Georgian-Armenian painters with Armenia.
The exhibition showcases 22 paintings and each painter has presented 3 works. The exhibition will run until April 30.
A catalog entitled "With the calling of my homeland" has been published with the support of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and includes two works by each painter, reports the RA Ministry of Diaspora's press service.
