Secretary of the National Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev arrived in Armenia today at the invitation of his Armenian counterpart Arthur Baghdasaryan.
The Russian delegation comprises the Commander-in-Chief of the Land Forces of the Russian Federation Alexander Postnikov, Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Konstantin Biryulin, Deputy Chief of the Frontier Service of Russia Nikolay Kozik, Head of the Federal Agency for the Development of State Border Infrastructure (Rosgranitsa) Dmitry Bezdelov and other officials.
The National Security Council Secretaries of Armenia and Russia, Arthur Baghdasaryan and Nikolai Patrushev are expected to visit the Russian Border Service in Armenia and hold a private meeting.
The parties are expected to sign a protocol upon the outcome of the visit. The Russian delegation will also be received by Serzh Sargsyan, the NSC press service reports.
