OSCE monitors the contact line

On August 31, in accordance with the earlier achieved agreement with the NKR authorities the OSCE mission conducted а regular monitoring of the line of contact of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the south-eastern direction of Kuropatkino settlement of Martouni region, NKR.

From the NKR Defense Army positions, the monitoring mission was headed by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk. Field Assistants of Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Antal Herdich (Hungary) and Hristo Hristov (Bulgaria) were included in the monitoring group.
From the opposite side, the monitoring was held by Coordinator of the OSCE Office, Lieutenant-Colonel Imre Palatinus (Hungary) and Field Assistant of Personal Representative of the OSCE CiO Zhaslan Nurtazin (Kazakhstan).

The monitoring passed in accordance with the planned schedule. No violation of cease-fire regime was registered.

From the Karabakhi party, the monitoring mission was accompanied by representatives of the NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Defense.
