Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will host the winners of the Kangaroo International Mathematical Competition at 11:00 August 31. Guests at the presidential residence will be Edgar Minasyan (Yerevan), Abraham Grigoryan (Vanashen Village, Ararat Marz), as well as eleven best schoolchildren from each marz and the best pupil of Artsakh.
Kangaroo is a logical contest held annually in 50 countries with the participation of over six million pupils.
It is the second year the international competition is held in Armenia under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Education and Ayb Educational Foundation.
This year about 40 000 pupils from Armenian marzes participated in the competition.
