Investigators interpreted in their own way

Young nature protectionist Mariam Sukhudyan is no longer under persecution, as reported by the Prosecutor General's Office.

The Yerevan investigative department at the general investigative department of the RA Police is continuing inspection of the facts indicated in the material broadcast by "Haylur" news program about acts of prostitution against students at the special school N11 of Nubarashen by teacher L. S.

The indications by prosecutor in charge of supervising legality of the preliminary inquiry quashed the criminal case brought up by the Erebuni investigative division (135th Article of the RA Penal Code) for spreading overtly false information to thrown down the teacher's honor and dignity and hurt her fame, while the criminal persecution against Mariam Sukhudyan who was included in the article as a culprit is over and there is no longer a precautionary measure.

The preliminary inquiry implemented at Yerevan investigative department showed that the Erebuni investigative division had interpreted the initially acquired evidence in its own way. In addition, there was new evidence and after analysis, Sukhudyan's charge was not corroborated. A criminal case has been brought up for implementing acts of prostitution.
