From January 24-30, the Moscow Patriarchate's department of relations with the Armed Forces and Justice Ministry of the Russian Federation held assemblies entitled "Relations between the church and the state in the spheres of justice and education."
The goal of the assemblies was to seek possible courses for further effectiveness of relations between both structures in the mentioned spheres and help raise the love and tolerance among the society.
With the blessing of His Holiness, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, Friar Garegin Hambardzumyan of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin participated in the assembly with a speech on "Relations between the church and the state in the sphere of justice in Armenia".
