Yerevan citizen Yerem Ghukasyan, who is staging a protest action outside the government building, says he is protesting against ‘the disgraceful morals of the disgraceful state.'
This is the second time the elderly man has come to the government building seeking assistance from state officials.
The seventy-year-old man has written his demands on a poster. He calls on the authorities to return his ‘entire life's work' which he deposited in a Soviet bank.
"I participated in the Karabakh war. Today I have nowhere to stay. I am sleeping on a wooden board. I have stored the money I earned in the bank and today I cannot have it back. I have gone to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs several times but I have been banned from meeting the Minister," he said.
Yerem Ghukasyan says the only people concerned about his fate are random passers-by.
