Former Chief of Police, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP Alik Sargsyan has an adequate explanation and justification for his abilities and is not afraid of law enforcement inspections. "I have led a dignified life, my whole working career has been clear. I have done my job, and I have not done any other abuse. That's why my conscience is clear," said RPA faction member Alik Sargsyan at a briefing with reporters in the NA. Alik Sargsyan himself applied to the SIS, noting that he had been threatened and blackmailed by former governor of Ararat Vardges Hovakimyan, who had said that the former chief of police had to pay his financial penalties that he had in the past. "All these slanders, these attempts, they bring them to the man whose worth they do not have. I will never allow it, you will see it during the exam. He is an unicellular person that tries to discredit me, diminish my years' earnings, no one can do it," said Alik Sargsyan.
