Taron Margaryan informs about his resignation
The head of the Yelk (Way out) faction David Khazhakyan told “A1+” that Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan today officially informed his team about his resignation. David Khazhakyan said that a few weeks ago Taron Margaryan had already written a resignation request. “I think the official statement will be announced during the day.” Artur Shirinyan, who answered the phone from the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), said that the members of the faction are not present at the moment and he is not aware of the mayor's resignation. The mayor's press secretary Arthur Gevorgyan's phone number has been disconnected and the phone of the public relations department is not working.
