Naira Zohrabyan, member of the Tsarukyan faction and NA Standing Committee on European Integration, stated in her speech on the Armenia-EU comprehensive and expanded partnership agreement that this is one of the unique agreements that the Armenian political forces have absolute consensus. "The agreement consists of 386 articles, which include strict detailing solutions. The nomination of the agreement to Armenia by EU and ratification is not for a good thing, this is a EU Code of Conduct and aims to have a developed, stable and predictable region. Simply, the EU should not have a selective approach to the countries with whom it concludes an agreement. No matter how courageous Armenia will be demanded, will we have a political will to fight against corruption, monopolies because serious surgical procedures will be offered as immitations have come to an end? If this is not the case, this agreement will be "remained" on the shelves. In most cases, there will be revolutionary, surgical interventions," said Naira Zohrabyan and added that in case of visa liberalization, the EU is concerned that it will repeat examples of Ukraine and Georgia. We urge the EU to start specific discussions on visa liberalization within a reasonable timeframe. We know that the agreement will come into force on June 1; many provisions will come into force." As to the compatibility of cooperation with the EU or other union, Mrs. Zohrabyan underlined: "We are not the hostages or the supremacy of the EU or other union but the cooperation of the equal forces."
