Thirteenth Karate championship of Armenia
The 30th Armenian Karate Adult Championship was held at the Dynamo sports non-governmental organization in Yerevan, where all the regional federations of Armenia and the Karate Federation of Artsakh and female athletes participated, the press service of the Armenian Karate Federation reports. Gevorg Ghambaryan (60 kg), Sergey Dallakyan (67 kg), David Taroyan (75 kg), Mkrtich Ghazaryan (84 kg) and Sergey Makaryan (+84 kg) became champions in kumite. Mikhail Mkhitaryan (Artsakh) is the winner of the boys' finals in kata, while the winner among girls is Yeva Muradyan (Yerevan). According to the results of the championship, a new Armenian national team will be formed to participate in the European Championship to be held in Novi Sad, Serbia, on May 10-13 and November 6-11 in Madrid.
