Bako Sahakyan bestows posthumous award upon soldier
President of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR), Bako Sahakyan, on Monday signed a decree. On 8 January President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree according to which serviceman of the Artsakh Republic Defense Army's N division Vache Chilingaryan was posthumously awarded with the "For Service in Battle" medal for bravery shown during the defense of the Artsakh Republic state border.
As reported earlier, Republic of Artsakh Defense Army serviceman Vache Chilingaryan, 19, was mortally wounded, on Sunday at around 13:20pm.
Investigation has been launched to clarify the details of the incident. Artsakh’s defense ministry shares the grief of the loss and extends condolences to the family, relatives and co-servicemen of the killed soldier
