At the Yerevan Fair, in the small wooden houses, which have been operating already 6 years in the holidays, one can found not only traditional New Year's toys and gifts, but also some delicious food. "We present Trdelník which is Czech sweet. We make them here and served them hot or cold. Many people do not know about these sweets, and some of them get acquainted with them just in place." said Ani Hovhannisyan, employee of one of the pavilions. Here one can try not only Czech and Eastern sweets, but also Armenian marshmallow. Moreover, several pavilions at the fair have decided to make charity with their savings and bring the New Year miracle one step closer to them. "We cooperate with approximately 13 charitable organizations. Most of these organizations mainly give us handmade works of children with different problems. We also have handmade works by women who have been subjected to domestic violence, and the savings from these works will be donated to children with serious illness. So, the gifts in our pavilion are connected with the New Year," said Astghik Tadevosyan. The New York Fair will will operate on Northern Avenue until January 7.
