Russian frontier guards arrest a citizen of Iran
During the weekend, the Meghri frontier detachment detected an ndsight (PGO - 7) in a car belonging to a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Agarak checkpoint at the Armenia-Iran border. The device which is used to fire a hand-held anti-tank thrower (RPG-7). The offender said that he had bought the hindsight from one of the shops in Yerevan, at his friend's request. According to the acting legislation, the Russian border guards handed the detainee citizen and the detected devices to the employees of the competent authorities of the Republic of Armenia, Press Service of the RF Federal Security Service in Armenia reports.
