Damages of strong wind
On October 17, Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia recorded some emergencies caused by the strong wind. An alarm was received from Ijevan city of Tavush region, saying that a tree fell on the 15th km of the Ijevan-Dilijan highway, and due to this the highway became a one-way traffic. A call was received from Dilijan city of Tavush region, saying that a tree branch was broken down near Haghartsin Hotel. The branch fell in the traffic and stopped it. A call was received from the Stepanavan city of Lori region, saying that on the St. Nshan street, electric wiring, which were fall in the gas pipe, were burning. It turned out that the wind had turned 3 electric wiring and damaged the gas pipe, which caused a gas leak with fire. The fire was extinguished. It burned about 200 meters of cable.
