Discussion on the Changes in the Disciplinary Code of Military Power
On October 10, a meeting of the Expert Council on the Rights of Soldiers took place. Hrachya Palian, Head of Human Rights Protection Department of Criminal Justice and Human Rights Defender's Office of the Republic of Armenia, presented to the council the legislative proposals circulated on the draft law “On Making Amendments and Additions to the Disciplinary Code of the RA Armed Forces and the Procedure for Conducting Service Examination.” During the meeting, the sides also discussed the issue of provision of apartments to servicemen after their military service and granting them non-financial benefits.
