We are ready to defeat the power in Vanadzor (Announcement)
The announcement of the Bright Armenia party about the political crime committed just one year ago in Vanadzor: Just a year ago, at the session of the newly elected council of Vanadzor, the Republican Party made a disgraceful act by appointing its own candidate to the mayor, who, however, did not have the majority of votes. This is absolutely illegal and a political offense, which the RA Constitutional Court should give an assessment. These so-called city authorities have been strongly involved in the robbery of urban resources. One of the most recent manifestations of this is the huge and disproportionate costs for car maintenance, repair and spare parts. One of the striking examples is that only 964,000 Armenian drams will be spent to buy spare parts for Niva cars. I have always stated that this dishonor act in Vanadzor is a great “wound” on Armenia's political system. Because of this, the opposition candidates did not apply for the participation in the local self-government elections on November 5. The Bright Armenia party remains committed to its principles and is persistent in its struggle. We will fight in the Constitutional Court to achieve the solution to this injustice. We are fully prepared for the new elections and I am confident that we will close this unhappy page of Vanadzor's life by putting an end to looting, irresponsibility and devotion. We will change the development process of our country. Thus, we need more citizens who are ready to fight constantly with us in order to create our dream Armenia.
