This month will help our people understand the truth - Paruyr Hayrikyan
The Union for National Self-Determination (AIM) is celebrating its 30 anniversary this year. During his meeting with journalists, AIM Chairman Paruyr Hayrikyan said 30 years ago, September 27, they officially announced the formation of the Union for National Self-Determination. Paruyr Hayrikyan says Razmik Markosyan, Susanna Avagyan, Movses Gorgisyan and Mekhak Gabrielyan are also considered founders of the Union. Mr. Hayrikyan stresses that AIM was the first to put Christian ideas on the basis of its activity. “It was a prerequisite for success, and our success was not for our union, but for the Armenian people.” AIM’s 30th anniversary has begun. “No matter how hard the opponents of our nation try to ignore this fact and overshadow AIM, they will not succeed in their endeavors. This one month will help our people understand the truth,” Paruyr Hayrikyan said in conclusion.
