Tense situation is prevailing at an open-air market on Firdusi street in Yerevan where the Yerevan Municipality has been attempting to dismantle trade stands since early morning. Officials from the Municipality have arrived at the site where tradespeople are staging a protest against the decision of the city administration. The Municipality representatives say the traders are offered to move to one of the six fairs and malls in the city where they can continue to work in favourable conditions. In addition, they will not have to pay rents during the first two months. In reply to A1+’s question why the traders do not trust the Municipality, a representative of Kentron district administration said, “It is easy for them here. They do not pay much money.” The traders ask the relevant bodies to wait until December for them to be able to sell out what they have. ff People hold a protest action against the decision of the Yerevan Municipality to demolish Ferdowsi Market MHM0115642 People hold a protest action against the decision of the Yerevan Municipality to demolish Ferdowsi Market People hold a protest action against the decision of the Yerevan Municipality to demolish Ferdowsi Market People hold a protest action against the decision of the Yerevan Municipality to demolish Ferdowsi Market The 33rd district (Firdausi) of Yerevan The 33rd district (Firdausi) of Yerevan
