Davit Babayan: Artsakh never downs passenger planes
According to press reports, Airbus A321-231 belonging to Turkish Airlines flies over Artsakh. Talking to Artsakhpress.am, Spokesman for Artsakh’s President Davit Babayan, said that unlike Azerbaijan, Artsakh is not a terrorist state. Numerous international flights are operated through Artsakh. “First, do not compare us with Azerbaijan which downs passenger planes. It is not characteristic of us. Second, if the flight is carried out, it reveals the black propaganda of Azerbaijan. On the one hand, Azerbaijan calls on foreign airlines not to enter Artsakh’s airspace for security reasons; on the other hand, Azerbaijan operates flights over Artsakh itself. In fact, Azerbaijan contradicts itself. Let the world see the difference between us and a barbaric and fascist state like Azerbaijan,” Mr Babayan said.
