18-year-old girl faints from hunger (video)
The family of 7 members lives on AMD 19,000 pension of their 53-year-old uncle Grigor Grigoryan. “Sometimes my children remain hungry for days,” says mother of the family Mrs Valya. During our shooting 18-year-old Natalya fainted from hunger. It turned out that the girl didn’t eat anything during the whole day. 2 years ago 7-year-old Anzhela died because of serious health problems. The former medical-social committee didn’t recognize the child’s disability. Starting from March they haven’t received benefit; it isn’t allocated by law. They have debts in the stores and few people are ready to help them. They haven’t applied to the authorities, as they have no hope to receive any aid. “Lori” TV video
