Residents block Yerevan-Norabats roadway
Residents have closed Yerevan-Norabats roadway as a sign of protest, Shamshyan.com reports. The source says the group demands that the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology and Ararat Regional Administration keep their promise and fill in pot holes and cracks in this road section. “There are numerous unsolved problems in the village, starting from drinking water to poor road conditions. A few years ago, the Yerevan municipality allowed minibus N54 to pass through our village but the drovers refused to enter the village because of potholes,” said one of the protesters.
