SRC Chairman: “Apples weren’t noticed, as bribe was given” (video)
In reply to the question how it is possible that customs officers noticed “Igla” weapon brought to Armenia, but didn’t see apples, Vardan Harutyunyan, Chairman of the State Revenues Committee (SRC), gave such an answer during the press conference while touching upon the case of importation of Azerbaijani apples, “Apples weren’t noticed, as bribe was given.” “As of now I cannot publish names, as the guilt hasn’t been proved yet,” said the SRC Chairman, adding that not only customs officers, who took the bribe, are guilty, but also the person, who gave the bribe, as well as those shops, which sold the apples after seeing Azerbaijani notes on them.
