Anti May 1st march: “If you are hungry, eat the rich” (video)
A group of young people today have been holding anti May 1st march in Yerevan. According to the young people, May 1st isn’t a simple day, but a day of avoiding the real struggle of the poor. “If you are hungry, eat the rich”, “Debts to you, life to us”, “No to capital, no to violence, no to owners”, “No to state, no to borders, no to patriarchy, no to owners”; these were the slogans of the participants of the march. The action doesn’t have an organizer, as they say that everybody is an organizer: “Some principles have been established during the preparatory activities; no one can introduce, speak or negotiate on behalf of us. There is an offer not to speak to the media outlets and the policemen. Let the policemen do what they do with our taxes and money, and the media outlets should find a way to cover the action.”
