Economist Ashot Yeghiazaryan, who was nominated to the parliamentary elections with the list of Free Democrats Party, today while touching upon the post-election processes and in particular to the economic situation, noted that the influence of the RF will continue to remain on high level, “Only our party proposed to withdraw from the EEU, which is the only way of our development. Now only Yelk (Way out) in the NA is a pro-Western power, which is waiting that the EEU will collapse and an agreement will be signed with the EU. That is a dangerous condition, in which concessions will be necessary especially in Artsakh issue. It means that it doesn’t offer any political way out, any solution. The solution will be only an imposed war.” He thinks that these elections were a good chance so that powers offering alternatives appear in the NA and start the process of withdrawing from the EEU in a civilized way, “Now we are in even worse condition and I cannot see any solution. When we toured in communities during the campaign, we saw that even acquaintances don’t matter. There is only fear coming from Russia.” In reply to our question that there were powers, which called for withdrawal from the EEU and cooperation with the EU also in the NA of the 4th convention, but there was nothing except calls, Mr Yeghiazaryan answered, “That time this issue wasn’t put forward as a platform, but if we were able to form a majority, we would be able to carry out our project.”
