Police say ORO alliance makes 'absurd statements'
The spokesman for the Armenian police, Ashot Aharonyan, dismisses the reports of the ORO bloc according to which the bloc’s supporters are banned from entering Yerevan to participate in a rally scheduled for 6 p.m. Aharonyan says the reports are fabricated and do not correspond to reality. Moreover, he said the police do not police deal with passenger transportation. We call on the alliance not to make unsubstantiated ansd absurd statements and ascribe to the police actions which the system is not empowered to perform,” he said. Earlier on Tuesday, the ORO bloc said law enforcement agencies banned its supporters from Lori marz from entering Yerevan to participate in its rally.
