Tsarukyan says news about investments made him feel 'chill' through his body (video)
15.36 Addressing supporters at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan, Gagik Tsarukyan, Chairman of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), who leads an alliance bearing his name, began his speech with ‘startling’ news, which, he said, made him feel a chill through his body.
“My friends pledged to invest 15 billion dollars [in Armenia] if we win the April 2 elections. I repeat, if we win,” he said.
Tsarukyan says his bloc does not have an enemy but there are many who envy them. “A person cannot do anything alone. We want to change our country. We shall invite specialists from all over the world to help us effect reforms,” he said.
15.18 The alliance led by Armenian Businessman Gagik Tsarukyan is holding a campaign rally at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex. The meeting is attended by hundreds of thousands of supporters of the Tsarukyan alliance, the bloc’s parliamentary election candidates Mikael Melkumyan, Naira Zohrabyan and others.
The attendees were shown a documentary about the bloc’s campaign rallies. This will be followed by candidates’ speeches.
