The next batch of flowers today appeared in front of the central office of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK). HHK representatives said they were going to give the roses [arranged in dozens of boxes] to passers-by on the occasion of Women's Month marked in Armenia from March 8 to April 7. In reply to A1+’s question whether flowers could not be as an attempt to bribe voters, HHK member Marat Martirosyan said, “If I give you a candy now, will it be considered as election bribe? We decided to mark the holiday somehow but you want to present it in a different light.” When asked why they did not give flowers after the April 2 vote, Mr Martirosyan said, “We shall try to organize such events after April 2, after May 14…”
