In connection with the incident in Jrarat community of Armavir marz, armtimes.com interviewed Samvel Babayan, former commander of the NKR Defense Army, who in reality coordinates the activities of ORO alliance. -Mr. Babayan, how can you assess the incident in Jrarat? -Frankly speaking, I am not well aware of those events. -Likely, you have heard that yesterday there was a quarrel between the relative of the village head and your supporter, shots were fired, as a result of which three people were injured. -I advise them not to rise against the alliance, as they will not reach anything by firing. If today they are firing tomorrow the opposite side may fire and in general they may not be found safe and sound. -Levon Yeranosyan’s brother and relatives are involved in the incident. Do you know them? - When I knew them, they had no courage to say a word. And their behavior surprises me. They were allowed to do that. -Did the authorities give them such a chance? -Of course, definitely. I think if the authorities want to silence them, they will do. But if the authorities don’t do that, they are somehow participants. Nobody in Armenia can take such an action without the permission of the authorities. We all can understand that.
