Karabakh: We did not target shepherds
The Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic dismisses Azerbaijani media reports alleging that its forces ‘opened fire on peaceful shepherds’ near Ayagh Kervend village, Akna region last night. “This is another piece of disinformation spread by Azerbaijani media. The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army has never targeted civilian facilities or civilians. Moreover, the vanguard units of the Defense Army never act as an aggressor and open fire towards the Azerbaijani positions only in case of strict necessity,” the Ministry said in a statement.
