Bread prices drop again in Goris city
Governor of Syunik marz Vahe Hakobyan has met with all break makers in Goris city to discuss with them the recent rise in bread prices. During the meeting, it was decided to sell bread at the same price. From now on, a loaf of bread will be available at the bakery at 160 drams. The prices of bread went up by 40 drams in the city in one night. On January 10, people learnt that they would have to pay 200 drams to buy a loaf of bread weighing 480-500 drams instead of the former 160 drams. Local manufacturers said the hike was determined by the rise in flour prices imported from Russia.
