Names of killed servicemen known
Early in the morning of December 29th, on the state border south-east of the RA Tavush marz Chinari village, the Azerbaijani armed forces initiated sabotage penetration attempt. The RA Armed forces units neutralized attacking actions of the Azerbaijani armed forces, the adversary was thrown back, sustaining losses and casualties, including in the territory of our military posts. Unfortunately, during the military actions the Armenian side also sustained losses. During the skirmishes for defense of the RA state border, Senior Lieutenant Shavarsh Melikset Melikyan, servicemen Edgar Grigor Narayan and Erik Garik Abovyan have been killed. The RA Ministry of Defense shares heavy grief of loss and sends condolences to the relatives of the deceased servicemen. The RA Ministry of Defense has undeniable proof of violation of the RA State border by the Azerbaijani side.
