Criminal Court of Appeal upheld the court decision on the case of Valeri Permyakov, who is accused of murder of 7 members of Gyumri’s Avetisyan family. To remind, legal representatives of the successors of the victims submitted two appeals to the higher court. By one of the appeals the representatives of the successors of the victims noted that the murder of the family wasn’t revealed and they had suspicions that Permyakov was not alone. By another appeal the representatives demanded to annual the decision of the Court of First Instance, by which the demand for non-pecuniary damage (about EUR 450 000) from Russia was refused. Permyakov wasn’t present at today’s court hearing, as he personally had submitted an application and noted that he does not want to attend court hearings.
