Government refuses draft law of “Hamakhmbum”: live (video)
Today the Government refused the draft law suggested by the NA lawmakers Elinar Vardanyan, Stepan Margaryan and Vahe Hovhannisyan. The draft offers to decrease fine for not paying parking charge from AMD 5000 to AMD 1000. Artur Hovhannisyan, First Deputy Minister of Justice, explaining the rejection, noted that before deciding measure and size of responsibility for each illegal act it is necessary to make sure that they will grant an opportunity to achieve implementation of objectives of administrative accountability, “In this regard, decrease in the amount of sanction proposed by the draft may result in the increase of illegal acts, as well as undermine its preventive and instructive function.”
