Serviceman receives fatal gunshot wound
On December 7-8 overnight on the Line of Contact between the opposing forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan the adversary continued violating the ceasefire regime (about 40 times). The Azerbaijani armed forces fired more than 500 shots from different caliber automatic weapons and sniper rifles towards the Armenian positions. The DA vanguard units took retaliatory steps only in case of strict necessity and continued confidently carrying out their military duty along the entire Line of Contact. An emergency incident was registered overnight. On December 8 at about 02:45, in one of the military units stationed in the north-eastern (Martakert) direction, still under unknown circumstances, serviceman Albert Hakob Postolokyan (born in 1996) received fatal gunshot wound. Investigation is underway to find out the details of the incident.
