Snow in Ashotsk highways
The RA Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies reports that as of December 8 at 09:30 it is snowing in Ashotsk highways. There is black ice on some sections of Tashir, Tumanyan, Dilijan, Vardenis, Goris regions’ roads and Vardenyats mountain pass. These roads are being cleaned with salt and sand. Interstate and republican roads are open. In order to refrain from accidents, incidents and traffic jam, drivers are urged to use only winter tires. Georgia’s road department informed the RA Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies that Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles in case of using tire chains.
