Serzh Sargsyan’s act is very dashnak step (video)
Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) faction member Mikayel Melkumyan doesn’t agree that hereafter “Security dream” and “Parking City Service” will have no connection with red lines and road cameras, “I can see the matter as follows; that the community or the state must manage the financial flows. It doesn’t mean that it was taken. Who should provide service?” Two days ago Mikayel Melkumyan tried to inquire of the Minister of Finance whether these two companies covered the expenses of their capital investments. The Minster answered- more than ‘yes’, “It means that when the business wasn’t affected, it has already benefited, here you can start discussing how to move forward, it means, change the situation.” Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) faction Head Armen Rustamyan is very happy about what happened; in the end what Serzh Sargsyan did was very dashnak step, “The government of the state, yes, is in line with socialist ideology, and we have always stated that the state shouldn’t move aside, as if the market is free and governs and heads itself.” Still during the days of the quartet Dashnaktsutyun said that the impunity of red lines and street cameras should have been stopped, “In this case people were affected and appeared in incomprehensible difficulties. The economy was also affected, as because of AMD 1000, the whole money may have been sequestered.” The elections of the National Assembly aren’t far and Mr Rustamyan doesn’t rule out that depriving “Security dream” and “Parking City Service” of billions of drams can be perceived as a pre-electoral step by Serzh Sargsyan and the Republican party, “Even if it is true, it isn’t important to me. Gaining votes in this way is more preferable that giving bribe and using administrative levers.” “Whatever the authorities do now, you will link it to the elections,” says Republican Hovhannes Sahakyan. But why did the authorities decide to listen to the long-lasting complaints of the people only now? “Our every step, personally mine and that of my team, as well as head of our team, is pre-electoral, but that ‘pre-electoral’ doesn’t start 6 months before.” Yet, Mr Sahakyan considers yesterday’s decision on depriving “Security dream” and “Parking City Service” of billions of drams not to be a pre-election step, but an instruction improving the situation.
