Proposal to direct one month’s salary of lawmakers to Talish residents (video)
The NA Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction lawmaker Gagik Melikyan has recently returned from Artsakh. Today at the meeting with journalists he said that after April War very active actions are underway there in terms of ensuring security both in the military positions and the whole territory of the country, “I was in Martakert posts, got acquainted with military-technical means, which are deployed there. They allow our units to implement supervision on every step of the adversary,” he said. The lawmaker was also in Talish, participated in the opening ceremony of the monument dedicated to the deceased members of Sisian regiment. Gagik Melikyan noted that he proposed all the NA lawmakers, as well as Government members, to donate their one month’s salaries to the fund opened in Artsakh, the means will be directed to the resettlement of Talish, “That money will be spent on reconstruction of school and kindergarten of Talish. In the military posts the servicemen are in high spirits than ever, but I think the existence of population in their back should promote to it. In this term we should our best so that Talish is fully repopulated,” he summed up.
