Mourinho tells Wayne Rooney he can leave Manchester United
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has advised the teams captain, Wayne Rooney, to ‘look for a new football club.’ The Portuguese manager said that Rooney had not informed him about a muscle injury because of which Mourinho did not include team captain in the previous game. United manager will not force the 31-year-old out of Old Trafford but he has informed the England captain’s representatives that he is no longer guaranteed a starting place in the team. Rooney’s contract with Manchester United ends in 2019, but the club has announced that Rooney is free to leave Manchester United any time he wants. Wayne Rooney has been offered the chance to kickstart his career in China. China has already attracted a string of glamourous names from Europe and offers eye-watering sums of money for top overseas stars. China's Shanghai football club have recently shown interest in Rooney and even made him an £80million deal. Henrikh Mkhitaryan, an Armenian professional footballer and captain of Armenia's national team, plays as a midfielder for the English club [Manchester United] where all issues are coordinated by the Portuguese specialist.
