Mayoral candidate in Vanadzor city wanted by local police
1in.am reported on Tuesday that Arkadi Peleshyan (aka Akan), who headed the list of the Armenian Revival party in the October 2 elections in Vanadzor city, had severely beaten Rafik Grigoryan, Primate of the Armenian Evangelical Church of Vanadzor. The latter is currently in a medical centre in Vanadzor. Head of the Helsinki Civil Assembly Vanadzor office Artur Sakunts visited the hospital late at night. The source says that Arkadi Peleshyan has declared wanted by the local police.
