Banants beats Shirak to come third in the rankings
The last two matches of the seventh round of Armenia Football Cup matchday 7 took place on September 27. FC Alashkert played a tie with FC Pyunik in a host game while Gyumri’s Shirak lost to Banants (1:0). Thus, the second-placed Alashkert missed the opportunity to reach the leader, while Banants rose to third place in the rankings. Round 8 matches are due to start on October 1, with Banants hosting Alashkert on the same day.
