You were entrapped: Tevan Poghosyan to Pashinyan and Marukyan
Tevan Poghosyan has addressed an open letter to Nikol Pashinyan and Edmon Marukyan “Dear Nikol and Edmon, It is with a heavy heart that I have been following your steps and actions against each other in recent days. Should I not know both of you, I might not voice my opinion and would simply say that everything is within the rules of politics. However, knowing both of you and understanding very well the importance that you have for the future of Armenia, I could not keep silent. Dear Nikol and Edon, it is fiction when they say that “the votes of the authorities come from a fixed segment,” and one should struggle for the votes that the opposition will receive. This was a decoy set by the authorities and you were entrapped. Today your public ‘attacks’ are spread with great pleasure. As a result, ordinary people begin to think, “Well, they still do not have anything to share… What will they do when they come to power?” As a result, you are not fighting for opposition voices, but you are sending votes to the authorities. Do not do it please, people do not know you as well as I do, do not destroy their hope, there is no hope left for them… I invite you to my house to drink wine made by me and reflect a little about the future of our country,” reads the letter.
