Armtimes: Shots fired at car of Manvel Grigoryan’a son: another candidate is in hospital
Ahead of Etchmiadzin mayoral elections the situation drastically became tense. At night shots were fired at the car of current Mayor of Etchmiadzin Karen Grigoryan, son of the NA HHK faction lawmaker, General Manvel Grigoryan. At that moment Karen Grigoryan was in the car. No one was injured. The shots were fired from VAZ 21/06 car, in which, according to some information, there were candidate for mayor’s position Arthur Tumanyan and nephew of the former Mayor of Etchmiadzin Hrachik Abgaryan. Karen Grigoryan was with his brother. They were accompanied by Toyota car. The latter followed VAZ 21/06 car and on Kamo street they collided with each other. After that fight broke out, during which Tumanyan and Abgaryan were affected. They were transferred to Vagharshapat hospital. To remind, on September 13 mayoral election will be held in Etchmiadzin.
